What is TSPSC?
The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is the premier government body responsible for recruiting candidates for various Group services in Telangana state. TSPSC Group-2 Overview
Group-2 examination recruits candidates for Sub-Registrar, Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO), Senior Accountant and other Class-2 posts. This is one of the most popular exams among intermediate and degree holders in Telangana.

2. Indian Polity and Constitution
The Indian Constitution — its features, fundamental rights, directive principles, amendment procedures, the role of Parliament, State Legislature, Judiciary — forms a major portion of the syllabus. Important topics include the Preamble, Articles 14, 19, 21, 32, 356, and 370. The 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendments related to Panchayati Raj are very important for TSPSC.
3. Telangana Economy and Development
Questions on Telangana's major industries, agriculture, irrigation projects (Kaleshwaram, Pranahita-Chevella), welfare schemes (Rythu Bandhu, KCR Kit, Aarogyasri), and Telangana's role in national GDP are important. Understanding the state budget, Five Year Plans, and economic indicators like per capita income and HDI is essential.
4. Science and Technology
General science covering basic physics, chemistry and biology is tested. Recent developments in space technology (ISRO missions), defense technology (DRDO), IT and digital India initiatives, biotechnology, and environmental science are covered. Current affairs related to national and international science news are also tested.
5. Mental Ability and Reasoning
This section tests logical reasoning, analytical ability, and quantitative aptitude. Topics include number series, analogies, coding-decoding, blood relations, direction sense, calendar problems, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, percentages and data interpretation.
